Demi Lovato Talks 'X Factor' Feud with Simon Cowell

“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with “The X Factor” judge and mentor Demi Lovato after the show's double elimination Thursday, and the singer opened up about her war of words with Simon Cowell.
After Cowell’s boy band Emblem3 performed Wednesday, Lovato expressed some strong feelings. She commented, “I just don't understand what Simon is doing with you guys. Every week I know you are going to be standing next to each other singing a song, but people are going to like you because you are good looking. I don't think this is genuine at all.”
Simon shot back, "Demi, you criticizing me for doing a bad job is quite ironic." He continued by pointing out to her that he has sold over 300 million records.
Backstage with Bargh, Demi did not back down. “He gets on my nerves. I would talk to anybody that way if they were talking to me that way. I don’t care who you are. I don’t care how many records you sold. I’m going to tell you what I think if you are going to bite my head off.”

Haha @Meg J, the audience liked her so much more that she got eliminated. Demi knows what she's doing. You obviously do not.
In the preview, you promised an interview with Simon. I was so disappointed when it turned out that there was only an interview with Demi. Where were the cameras when you spoke to the The Man himself?
I totally agree, Meg J. Demi is getting too big for her britches, and her attitude is just not acceptable. She thinks she knows better than a 53-year-old record label executive who's been in the business longer than she's been alive. Meanwhile, she's just one singer away from being "benched". Her general disrespect to Simon is just appalling. Plus, Simon is a sexy man who drives even girls younger than Demi wild, and Demi treats him like an "icky" old man. That hurts his image. I sincerely hope Demi and Britney, who adds absolutely nothing to the show, are gone next season. Hiring these two as judges was a poorly thought out idea.
He gets on my nerves also, he thinks he is "God's gift" to talent and women. I actually cringe when he said such insulting remarks to Demi....he tried it once with "Britney" and she gave him some of his own medicine.. but, Demi, does too......I hope she doesn't leave because other than Demi, it stinks....without her...I don't know how Simon could of sold 300 Million records, he can't sing act or dance....he doesn't know talent....those Emblem3 guys only talent they have ARE their looks like Demi said...this guy (Simon) loves himself so much him and his millions....and .I don't like the way he treats women...
Simon needs to be put in his place, he is so arrogant and always picking a fight with Demi, I'm glad she doesn't back down and speaks her mind. I think in a weird twisted way, Simon respects her more because of it. Demi is there to judge, and she gives constructive criticism, that doesn't make her a bitch, just because she doesn't think everyone is amazing ala Britney. She can't work miracles, if people go back and watch CeCe's audition they'd see a lot of people dislike her on there. Also people were disappointed that Paige even made the live shows over Willie. Demi can only do so much and I'm not such exactly what people expect her to do, with her contestants who lets be honest NEVER had the vocals to be real contenders.
Demi is really getting on my nerves. She is coming off as snotty and ignorant. She always has something rude to say and thinks her **** don't stink. Well sorry honey, your **** stinks just like everyone's! She needs to stop with the Simon bashing and work harder with her own people she's mentoring, because she hasn't been doing a very good job of that herself! When that girl last week told Demi she didn't want to do what Demi wanted, she got more praise from the judges and the audience liked her far more. Demi has got to stop thinking she knows everything! She is always so fast to say that she is just a 20 year old girl, and stop acting like a spoiled brat! She is all for anti-bullying, then she should STOP acting like one herself on the show!!!

Simon was just really annoying. He acted really immature. I'm happy that Demi does not give up but I also worried that she might get hurt under the pressure.
