Actress Katie Holmes left New York for her Ohio hometown Thursday morning, with no signs of daughter Suri as she checked-in at LaGuardia airport.

Although dad Tom Cruise has been in the UK filming "All You Need Is Kill," it is unknown where he, Suri and his two older children, Bella and Conor, will spend the holiday.

On "Live! With Kelly and Michael," Katie spoke about the trip and her break from Broadway commitments. "We have Thursday off, so I'm going to have a chance to go home with my family. My sister makes a really good sausage stuffing and my mom makes great turkey."

This will be the first Thanksgiving Holmes has spent away from Suri since her divorce from Cruise earlier this year.
