Actor Charlie Sheen is being investigated for allegedly threatening to shoot a man to death with a Super 90 semi-automatic shotgun.

TMZ says a man, who claims to be Sheen’s former associate, filed a police report on October 18, stating he feared for his life.

The man explained to the authorities that he and Sheen had a bad falling out, and he learned that the TV actor sent a text to a mutual friend, "I'll blow his head off with my Super 90."

Law enforcement sources told TMZ the case is currently under investigation and that the cops have reached out to Sheen, but a source close to the “Anger Management” star said it’s just a ploy.

The insider said, "The accuser is a dishonorably discharged military person with multiple probation violations who is trying to shake him down for money."

Sheen's rep had no comment.
