Dear Extra, I know you helped out today in Island Park. My cousin just posted this on her facebook to try and help her kids while they are in a temporary school. Maybe you can help get supplies!!

Please help my children's school. are not able to return for a few weeks and need some supplies in order to teach in their temporary home.Any contribution is greatly appreciated! Here is my immediate need/request...I really am putting this out to anyone in the immediate area (who could get the supplies to me by Monday)
We NEED:
Sharpened Pencils
Composition Notebooks
2-pocket Folders
Scissors (for the kids)
Reams of Paper
22+ Large pads of "chart paper" (for the teachers to use as portable chalk boards for their lessons)
20+ of the plastic drawers on wheels (for the teachers to use as portable desks, to maintain their "classroom" supplies)
Basic things for teachers (pens, paper clips, staplers/staples)

ALSO NEEDED:
PEANUT-FREE SNACKS (Preferably Individually wrapped)
Water Bottles
Juice Boxes
(for "snack time" since most kids are displaced from their homes)

So ANYONE who can get any (or all of these things....thinking positive...) by Monday, I (and the children/teachers of RHAME AVENUE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL) would be forever grateful! NO CONTRIBUTION IS TOO GREAT OR TOO SMALL. We have about 350 kids to supply for...
If you cant help with this request, don't worry...I'll be putting more out there.
THANKS AGAIN for all of the support!!!)
