The country has spoken, re-electing President Barack Obama to another four years in the White House! Obama, wife Michelle and the girls celebrated his victory over Republican nominee Mitt Romney in Chicago to the tune of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” among cheering fans and lots of confetti.

The President, who secured 303 electoral votes over Romney’s 206, assured supporters that “the best is yet to come” and told the crowd, “A decade of war is ending. A long campaign is now over. And whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you, I have learned from you, and you have made me a better president.”

He added, “With your stories and your struggles, I return to the White House more determined and more inspired than ever about the work there is to do and the future that lies ahead.”

Romney addressed disappointed Republican voters with a short concession speech in Boston, speaking for less than five minutes.

“At a time like this we can’t risk partisan bickering and political posturing,” he said. ”Our leaders have to reach across the aisle to do critical work.”

Romney continued, “Paul and I have left everything on the field. We have given our all to this campaign. I so wish I had been able to fulfill your hopes to lead the country in a different direction, but the nation chose another leader. Ann and I join with you to earnestly pray for him and this great nation.”

As the election results rolled in stars took to Twitter to share their reactions. Katy Perry, who has been a big Obama supporter, wrote, “DONE AND DUSTED!!!” The people have the power! Proud to stand by you for 4 more years.”

Eva Longoria shared her excitement too, tweeting, “We did it!!! Obama re-elected!!!! Yes!! Yes we can!”

Romney fan Donald Trump, disagreed, writing, “This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!”

I would like to boycott movies of those celebrities who don't have our same values but then what would be left to see? Oh never mind...most of us can't even afford to go to movies these days.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions but I am so disappointed in some of the celebrities political choices. Gay marriage and less morals seems to be the way the country is going. I treat gays with respect but God doesn't want marriage between same sexes. Who are we to ignore God's word? And if President Obama is a U S Citizen...what's the big deal ? show us your real birth certificate!
