Seth MacFarlane on the Future of 'Ted'

“Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli spoke with Seth MacFarlane on Friday at the “Family Guy” 200th episode celebration, and Seth talked about his gig as Oscar host and whether there will be a “Ted” sequel.

Penacoli asked whether stuffed bear Ted would be making an appearance at the 2013 Academy Awards. MacFarlane replied, "It’s yet to be determined whether Ted will make an appearance at The Oscars, we’ll see.”

Seth also let it slip there may be a “Ted 2” in the works while praising “Ted” star Mila Kunis. “The Family Guy” creator said, “I haven’t talked to her in a while, but she did such great work for us in ‘Ted 2,’ quickly correcting himself, “‘Ted’! ‘Ted’! I’ve get ‘Ted 2’ on the brain.”

Although MacFarlane skirted around making any official announcements, he also didn’t deny the sequel, quipping, “That’s what happens when you drink before a press line.”
