Mark Ballas on Bristol Palin 'DWTS' Elimination: 'She Went Down Swinging'

Former Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin, and dancing partner Mark Ballas were sent home in week four of "Dancing with the Stars," having outlasted two former champs, Helio Castroneves and Drew Lachey.

"Extra's" Renee Bargh went to interview the couple after their elimination, but Bristol was nowhere to be found. Ballas spoke of her quick exit from the ballroom, "She's doing okay. She's a little sad."

He continued, "She went down swinging. Didn't try to back down for anybody. Mama Palin was a little upset."

Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page on Tuesday night to thank fans for voting. "I also just want to give a quick thank you to everyone who supported Bristol & Mark. I know how much they appreciated the support. Now Bristol can head home just in time to enjoy Alaska's new fallen snow!"

DWTS show has been the best this season since they started. It is sad to see some of the really good dancers leave and some not so good stay but guess the public is responsible for that part.
I would like to see a season with all professionals dancing because they are the stars in my opinion.
It is amazing how much improvement is made from one week to another.
Fantastic show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bristol Palin should have never been on DWTS,she isn't even a D list star.If they ever have have DWTS Trailer Trash show,she'd be a cinch to win.

That’s the train-wreck mother of the year I suppose people are tuning in to watch. How do we let trash like this on television? Like mother, like daughter I suppose. Bristol is selling herself in any form or fashion just like Sarah to make that money. She pays a ghost-writer to slap together blog entries on hot-button issues to shamelessly promote herself. Her limited vocabulary shines through in Tripp’s favorite words. Talk about some successful capitalists- all body and no brains.
