Emily Maynard and Jef Holm Confirm They Are Parting Ways

“The Bachelorette” Emily Maynard unfortunately did not finding her happily ever after… again. The reality TV star and fiancé Jef Holm have ended their engagement.

She went on to say she had doubts about doing “The Bachelorette” after failing to make it work with “Bachelor” Brad Womack, but that she was a “hopeless romantic” and felt she had found love with Jef.
Emily explained, "I have nothing but respect and love for Jef and his family, but ultimately we are just at different points in our lives. I'm excited and hopeful for the next chapter in my life with my daughter, Ricki. I do hope that you will respect our privacy and allow us the time we need to heal."
Holm also gave a statement, saying, "Meeting Emily on ‘The Bachelorette’ was an incredible experience, we've had quite the journey. I've never loved someone so much in my whole life… What we shared was completely genuine and real and it breaks my heart but we have decided to break up.”
He continued, "Emily and I are great friends and I hope we can continue to be friends forever. Everyone wants a salacious story to break, but the truth is we are just two people who fell in love and tried our hardest to make it work. I will always love her."
Holm, who relocated to Charlotte last month, has been spending more time in Los Angeles promoting his company, People Water. Maynard, meanwhile, has been quietly going about her life with her 7-year-old daughter in Charlotte.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that trying your hardest takes a little longer than a month (the amount of time that they've lived in the same city). They seem to have the same attention span as Kim Kardashian.
I wish they (ABC) would take the Bachelor and Bachelorette off the air for good. All that show does is humiliate people, and I think 2 or 3 couples tops have made a go of it. And the Bachelor Pad is DISGUSTING!!!
I'm truly sorry for Emily Maynard and her fiance, I was hoping finally another successful relationship, I hope the paparazzi will give these 2 people the privacy they both need right now, they're both wonderful people, I'm certain Mr and Mrs Right is right around the corner for both of them.
