Actress Lindsay Lohan and mother Dina Lohan argued over money… or the lack of it, in Dina’s case.

The mother and daughter had a big blowout early Wednesday morning, with cops being called to the scene, and now TMZ reports it’s because the elder Lohan is close to losing her Long Island home and is asking LiLo for more cash.

According to court docs, JPMorgan Chase Bank filed documents in 2010 to foreclose on Dina's Long Island home, but ended up working out a new payment plan. At the time, Lindsay helped her mother by loaning her money.

But Dina again fell behind on the payments and asked the “Liz & Dick” star for more money, roughly $40,000. TMZ says this is what instigated the argument on Wednesday.

Dina has reportedly been borrowing from Lindsay for many years, including money to help pay for her kid brother's tuition.
