Talk show host Marie Osmond stopped by The Grove and talked with “Extra’s” Renee Bargh about some of today’s hot topics, including how local Wisconsin news anchor Jennifer Livingston stood up to a bully who called her overweight.

Marie, who has dealt with her own weight issues in the past, applauded Livingston. “She just fought back… like me or lump me, you know what I’m saying? I think you have to be comfortable in your skin. There are a lot of women out there who are not a size zero and weight is about health and happiness.

Osmond smiled, adding, “There are a lot of men I know who like something to hold on to.”

Marie also weighed in on the feud between “American Idol” judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. “I think our reality television loves to cause chaos no matter what.” She laughed, “Is it reality or is it produced?”

Jennifer is fat and it could impact her job. She should have enough self respect to slim down and look better for her job if that's her chosen field. The guy was right but maybe a letter would have been better received.
