Singer Lady Gaga paid a special visit to WikiLeaks chief Julian Assange on Monday night, spending five hours with the activist at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

Mother Monster was across the street at Harrods on Sunday promoting her new perfume, Fame, when rapper MIA tweeted at her, "if ur at harrods today, come visit Assange at the Ecuador embassy across the st. im there. ill bring TEA and CAKE."

Gaga waited until Monday to visit Assange, who has been there for months while seeking asylum in the South American country. No word on whether MIA joined them for the visit.

Wearing a black dress and witch's hat, Gaga posted a photo of the duo on LittleMonsters.com with the caption "No headline."
