Rob Burnett Offers Mitt Romney an Open Invitation on 'Letterman'

October 04, 2012 Politix
“The Late Show with David Letterman” executive producer Rob Burnett wants Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to come on the show!

Responding to a comment Romney made, saying “Letterman hates me because I've been on Leno more than him,” as heard on the now infamous “47 percent” video, Burnett told "Extra," “He knows we want him.”

Then, speaking directly to the camera, Burnett said, “Anytime you want to come, Mitt, we're here! We'd love you to be on it… there's a chair available… we've got cookies in the green room.”
