Keith Urban Weighs In on Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey's 'American Idol' Feud
“American Idol” judge Keith Urban weighed in on the Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey feud on Wednesday at the New York Film Festival premiere of “Paperboy.”
The country singer, who was in the middle of the two sparring judges during a heated argument, told “Extra” he felt like "the UN.” Wife Nicole Kidman chimed in, calling him “Switzerland.”
Urban added, “I love it, I gotta say, look I love working with passionate people. I love artists. Everyone just sort of expressing themselves. It’s a very alive and very invigorating work environment. A lot of passion. Randy is the craziest, so you know I’m predictable.”
When asked about the caliber of talent they have seen so far, he replied, “Really good. We just spent the last two days in Charlotte and [there are] a lot of good singers in Charlotte. North Carolina’s got a history of great artists anyway. They did well.”

If ratings are it, they are going to be sadly mistaken, GO X Factor!! That is my new show, it has class and has never turned into a side show as AI has........
