Drew Barrymore Welcomes Baby Girl!

Actress Drew Barrymore is the proud new mom of a baby girl! The “Grey Gardens” star and husband Will Kopelman welcomed Olive Barrymore Kopelman on Wednesday.

“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family,” the couple told People in a statement.

They added, “Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”

Drew, who never publicly confirmed the pregnancy, recently told Haute Living magazine, “I can’t wait until I have my children. I just want to build fun, great things for my family.”

Leading up to the birth, Barrymore, 37, was spotted at prenatal yoga classes and hanging out in L.A. with Will’s parents.

Congrats to the happy couple on their new bundle of joy!... i'm not crazy about the name but its better than some of the other crazy names that stars have named their children. so Congrats again drew Barrymore and will Kopelman. :)

Olive? As in "Olive, the other reindeer"? KuTe! A few years ago, Drew Barrymore did the main character's voice for an animated Christmas special about a reindeer named Olive, as in "all of the other reindeer".
