Richie Sambora Says Daughter Ava Inspired Him to Sober Up

September 27, 2012 At the Grove
Rocker Richie Sambora stopped by The Grove to chat with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez about his new solo album, “Aftermath of a Lowdown,” and how his song “Every Road Leads Home to You” is an emotional tribute to his 14-year-old daughter Ava, who inspired him to get clean.

Sambora confessed, “She said, ‘Hey man, you should clean up your act!’ and that was a big thing for me. She's my kid and we're going through it as a family together, so okay, that’s it, that’s it.”

Why didn't you show Richie Sambora on the show today??? I only watched it to see him...I really hope to get a response to this...Every show Richie has been on as of late has been disappointing. I'm sure a lot of Richie's fans feel the same way as I do
