Ted Danson Talks 'CSI' premiere, 'Cheers' Reunion and Oceana

Ted Danson stopped by The Grove on Wednesday to get “Extra’s” Maria Menounos up to speed on the new season of “CSI,” the “Cheers” cast reunion and his work with the conservation group Oceana.

“CSI” premieres Wednesday on CBS, and Danson said fans can expect lots of “action” and “car chases.” He jokingly added, “And naked people!”

The veteran actor also revealed that he plans to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of “Cheers” with the cast of the hit show. “I trade insults with Woody Harrelson as often as I can,” he said.

Ted also sits on the board of directors for Oceana, and told Maria about the organization’s latest challenges. “Worldwide, we are fishing out our oceans,” he explained. “We are doing it because these huge trollers, this big industry, is involved -- and they do it in a wasteful way.”
