Singer/actress Barbra Streisand sat down for a rare television interview with Katie Couric, which airs on “Katie” Tuesday.
Streisand talks about the upcoming duets album she’s working on with “Babyface” Edmonds that feature her first duet with her son, Jason Gould.
According to Streisand, “When I heard the things he’s recorded, the musicianship, the sound of his voice, it’s like he has a little chamber music orchestra right in his vocal chords.”

Streisand also talks about her 16-year marriage to James Brolin, her brand new album, “Release Me,” and her passion project, the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center.

I loved watching this interview and I can’t wait to hear Streisand’s duet with her son and with Babyface! Based on this interview it sounds like Streisand’s son has a lot of talent, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! It was also great to hear about her 16 yr marriage to James Brolin as well. This interview gave me and my DISH coworkers plenty to talk about at work. Luckily I recorded it on my Hopper because when I played back the recording I was able to start watching on my living room TV and then continue watching on any TV in my house right where I left off.
