Jimmy Kimmel Talks Emmys and Calling Jennifer Aniston ‘Mom’

Emmy host Jimmy Kimmel is ready to poke some fun at the stars this Sunday, but don’t expect him to be Ricky Gervais Jr.!

“I’m hoping to be a funny host,” he told “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli. “I’m not looking to roast the room. There will be a little bit of that…Ricky Gervais instilled fear in the hearts of [the audience members].”

Another thing Jimmy’s not doing…calling Jennifer Aniston “Mom,” even after a viral video of the two playing mother and son. “Jen does not require me to call her mom and she’s also against breast feeding,” he said with a laugh.

See Jimmy host the Emmys at 7 PM EDT / 4 PM PDT, Sept. 23 on ABC.
