It’s a boy for Nick and Vanessa Lachey! The couple announced the happy news on Wednesday.

“We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey,” the couple told People in a statement.

They added, “Born today at 6:54 p.m., he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.”

"Wipe Out" host Vanessa was definitely ready for baby Camden. On Monday she tweeted, "It's a good idea to put all ur baby stuff together ahead of time AND try it out. Then ur familiar.”

Followed by a post Tuesday that read, "@NickSLachey and I just made 4 different casseroles in bulk to freeze. Now, when the munchkin arrives, I've got some grub!”

Nick and Vanessa tied the knot in July 2011 and announced in March that they were expecting.
