Giuliana and Bill Rancic: Baby Edward Duke's Magazine Debut

Reality stars Giuliana and Bill Rancic are ecstatic over their new bundle of joy, Edward Duke. Now, the couple is showing him off to the world on the cover of Life & Style.

“I had always heard that when you have a baby it completes your life -- and it’s true,” Giuliana told Life & Style. “I love my baby, and I love my new role.”
 
The couple plans to call the little guy Duke, but his first name has a very special meaning. Giuliana explained, “Edward is Bill’s late dad’s name and my dad’s name. It was a way to honor them. And Duke means leader.”
 
Bill called the E! News host a “supermom” and told the mag, “It literally brought tears to my eyes the other day watching her with Duke.”
 
The new mama loves every minute of her maternal role. “I’d never changed more than a diaper or two in my life,” she said with a laugh. “Now it’s like the littlest things that make me happy -- happier than I’ve ever been.”
 
Starting a family has been a struggle for the couple, something they documented on the reality series “Giuliana & Bill.” While seeking infertility treatments, the anchor was diagnosed with breast cancer and told to wait five years to start a family. Instead, the pair found a surrogate to carry Duke.
 
“I couldn’t believe that all those years of struggling and the tears actually paid off,” Giuliana said. “Every shot, every doctor’s visit -- in the end, when you’re holding your baby in your arms, you forget it all, and it’s worth it.”
