MTV VMAs: Robert Pattinson Presents ‘Twilight’ Trailer
Following much speculation, Robert Pattinson did show up to present a new trailer for “Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2” at the MTV Video Music Awards. Noticeably absent was RPatz’s estranged girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who is in Toronto promoting “On the Road.”
Taking the stage with Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and others, Pattinson told the crowd, “It has been an amazing journey and we would like to thank all the fans of the series for their incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now, the final chapter.”
The exclusive clip starts out with Edward Cullen (Pattinson) telling Bella Swan (Stewart), “I have a bad habit of underestimating you. Every obstacle you’ve faced, I’d think you couldn’t over come and you just did.”
Trouble is brewing for the newlyweds, their daughter Renesmee and the entire Cullen family. The ruthless Volturi vampire faction thinks Edward and Bella have broken a sacred law and head to the Northwest to punish the couple.
The Cullens gather up their vampire friends along with Jacob Black (Lautner) and his pack of werewolves to create a defense against the coven.
Shots of the two sides running at each other sets the stage for an truly epic battle!
