New mom Jessica Simpson is about to make her debut as the Weight Watchers spokeswoman.

The singer and fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1, and Jessica has been trying to shed the extra pounds ever since.

She told USA Today, "I didn't realize [the weight] didn't all come off with the baby.”

So far Simpson has “lost weight every single week" by watching her portions, working with a personal trainer and walking 60 minutes each day.

"My boobs are way too big to run at this point. I'm just walking,” she admitted.

The “Fashion Star” judge won’t reveal her starting weight and says that Weight Watchers isn’t pushing her to meet a specific goal on the scale. The program recommends that women Jessica’s height, 5 foot 4 inches, weigh between 117 and 146. "They want me to be healthy," she said.

"I'm not a supermodel. My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I'm just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself."

Jessica, you should power walk instead of running. When you got the "big boobs" either by recently having a baby or born with the "girls" as I call em, you have to do other workouts and routines. I power walk 8 miles, 4-6 times per week along with low impact but very effective toning, sculpting workouts and whooosh, it will fall off, you just have to reset your body clock and give it some time. I recently had the dreaded weight gain due to a leg injury so it's hard work but worth it. Good Luck!

It's not that her "boobs are too big to run", it's that she should be doing a different workout. I too have been blessed/born with the "boob situation", so I powerwalk 8 miles 6 times per week plus toning, low impact workouts. You will sweat your butt off. You also need to change your diet from mac and cheese to NO mac and cheese for starters..Good Luck!

I don't know if Jessica is breastfeeding but that is how I lost the weight. I ate regular but the pounds just melted away. I did do some stomach exercises to tighten that area but that was it. Good luck and congrats on your beautiful little girl.

It seems Jessica has always had a weight problem and yet she ate like a horse while she was pregnant and some how thought the weight would all come off once she had her baby.She gives new meaning to Dumb Blond!!

Jessica all You Need to do is Vigorous walks Everyday, at least Two Hours five days a Week, Crunches in the Morning and again before 8, Other wise you'll be up all Night,as long as you are moving the weight will come off eat a real breakfast oatmeal and Blueberries, have Lunch and so on, you must eat but don't over do it and you'll be fine, Everyone is Different My Weight came off in Four Months with My Three Boys, I had a Tubes tied after My Daughter and so it took a little Longer but it does come off be Patient and Turn Off the Television.

Jessica Simpson looks fabulous, of course her boobs are big she just gave birth. Jessica will loose the weight, we need to back off and stop expecting these stars to give birth one day and look stunning in a string bikini the next, come on, she looks fine, she needs to loose the weight safely, she has a beautiful baby to care for, those 2 am feedings, diaper changes, etc., she'll soon be back more beautiful than ever.
