Ward, best known for her roles in “Sisters” and “CSI: NY,” joined the company’s board of advisors this week.

“As a parent, I’ve been looking for a system like this for years” said Ward. “We tried bank accounts, debit cards, but I always had to be the signatory on the account and my children never felt ownership.”

She added, “With Virtual Piggy, the children are empowered to manage their financials within reasonable limits set by the parents. Virtual Piggy helps them learn how to spend wisely, save for the future, and even donate to charity within a secure and controlled environment.”
