Matthew McConaughey Works Out for a Cause
Actor Matthew McConaughy hit the gym on Wednesday for a rigorous workout with students at Venice High School.
The “Magic Mike” star led exercises like push-ups, squats, sit-ups and jump rope as a member of P&G's GIVE Education team. The group, along with McConaughey's “just keep livin'” foundation, aims to start discussion about dropout rates and raise money for Communities in Schools (CIS) through a P&G rebate program.
Matthew, who recently married Camila Alves, ran the drills as a mentor and to demonstrate the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

The actor looked surprisingly thin as he spoke with the kids. He recently lost about 15 pounds, according to the Daily Mail. McConaughey is shedding the weight to prepare for his upcoming role in “The Dallas Buyers Club.”
The drama is based on real life AIDS victim Ron Woodroof, who helped smuggle HIV drugs into the United States.
