Robert Pattinson to 'GMA': 'I Don't Want to Sell My Personal Life'
Actor Robert Pattinson is out of hiding, but he’s not doing much talking. The “Twilight” heartthrob stopped by “Good Morning America” on Wednesday for a chat with George Stephanopoulos, but refused to discuss his cheating girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.
George first tried to console Rob with some of his favorite cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, before bringing up the “elephant in the room.”
The host asked, “How are you doing” and “What do you want your fans to know about what’s going on in your personal life?”
He said, “I like my fans to know… to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch has only 30 calories a bowl.”
RPatz, who is promoting his new film “Cosmopolis,” later explained, "I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life and that's really the only reason people bring it up. The reason you go on to TV is to promote movies. That's the only way to do it."
After years in the spotlight, the 26-year-old is still not used to the fame game. "If you get used to it I think you start going crazy," Pattinson said. "It's like being on the craziest theme park ride. It's totally exciting but, eventually, at some point you have to have a break."
On Tuesday, Rob talked tabloid rumors with "Showbiz Tonight." He nervously sipped coffee while sitting next to "Cosmopolis" director David Cronenberg and laughed when the reporter brought up rumors of him wallowing in misery. He called the constant reporting about his love life "weird" and said "loads of people just make [these reports] up anyway."
Meanwhile, rumors were swirling that KStew was off the hook for a second “Snow White and the Huntsman.” The actress, who publicly apologized to Rob for cheating with “Snow White” director Rupert Sanders, was reportedly not invited back for a sequel, however that may not be entirely true.
Statement from Universal Co-Chairman Donna Langley:
Universal Co-Chairman Donna Langley told "Extra, “We are extremely proud of 'Snow White and the Huntsman' and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.”

New Supporter
Being a fan of both Robert and Kristen, I have followed this all very closely. I have searched and researched most every word and picture posted. Because I loved them as a couple and I wanted them to be together. I felt I was doing this because I cared about them and I was supporting them. During my morning ritual of looking up the latest on the pair I came across Jodie's letter. I read it, and I read it again. It bothered me. Not long after, I watched Rob on GMA. Once again, Rob was not talking about his personal life, no surprise. What the surprise was...was to me, Rob's answers in this interview about his personal life and what Jodie had written in her letter came to me like a wake-up call, a light bulb moment, if you will.
The only true ones we have to blame is 1.The media and 2.Ourselves. That's it. Not Kristen, not Rob, not even Rupert. Why?? Because WE do not belong in any of their lives. The media wants us to believe we have every right in knowing all their personal details because we are fans or haters or what have you. The media has us hooked, line and sinker. Their game of 'all is fair in love and war because you are a celebrity' has left us confused, broken-hearted, angry and still wanting more. More. More $$$ for them is the real story and the only one they care about. And they know We. buy. into. it.
Robert and Kristen's personal lives should be just that. I will still support them, only I'll be doing it differently from now on. Different by supporting them for the incredibly talented actors that they are. Different by buying a ticket seeing their movies. Not buying a ticket to the circus media.
