Miley Cyrus' L.A. Home Swarmed by Police After Prank 911 Call
Miley Cyrus is safe and sound, despite a troubling 911 call to police Wednesday night reporting a home invasion and possible shots fired at her L.A. residence.
Law enforcement dispatched a helicopter and officers with high-powered weapons to the scene, but soon found that no one was home.
"We responded to a call of a kidnapping in progress, one person shot, at an address on Amanda Drive," North Hollywood police told ABC News.
It turns out the 6:50 PM request for help was likely a prank call known as “Swatting,” designed to trick the police. If it was an intentional hoax, the caller could face criminal charges.

Gosh, what a shame. There is NOTHING funny about a "prank" 911 call. All of the people involved, time and the expense....for no reason??? I sure do hope they catch whoever made that call and make them pay for their "fun."
