Trailer Park: Epic 'Cloud Atlas,' Dazzling 'Life of Pi'

Check out the trailers for two big-screen adaptations,“Cloud Atlas” and “Life of Pi.”

The thought-provoking “Cloud Atlas,” based on the novel by David Mitchell, is an exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future. From the directors of “The Matrix,” it sports an all-star cast including Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent and others.


The completely mesmerizing “Life of Pi,” directed by Oscar winner Ang Lee, is based on the stellar novel by Yann Martel and follows the story of an Indian boy named Pi, who finds himself in the company of a hyena, zebra, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger after a shipwreck sets them adrift in the Pacific Ocean.


“Cloud Atlas” floats into theaters October 26, “Life of Pi” on November 21.
