“America’s Got Talent” judge Howard Stern lost his spot as top dog in the reality TV world. Mariah Carey is now the highest-paid judge with her whopping $18-million “American Idol” contract.

What Howard wants to know is what Mariah’s hubby, Nick Cannon, plans to do with all that money! “I don’t know… it’s not my money,” the “AGT” host joked backstage with “Extra’s” A.J. Calloway. Stern wasn’t having it, “Yes, it is your money. At least half... don't worry I'll be your lawyer.”

Nick quipped, “Now you gotta tell your wife to go get on a competition show.”

Howard’s response? “This is a message to all wives... all across America. Get to work!”
