Heidi Klum on Bikini Photo, 'Project Runway' and More

Model Heidi Klum made headlines earlier this month, thanks to a hot bikini pic she tweeted on the Fourth of July. The blonde beauty confessed to “Extra” she did have second thoughts about the photo, but not until after she hit publish.

“It was a beautiful day,” she told us. “I was laying there and I just took a photo and sent it off. Then afterwards I was like, ‘Should I have done that?’ Maybe not, I don't know.”

How did she achieve that perfect beach bod? “I try to stay away from carbs,” she said. “It's hard. I have a lot of fights with myself, ‘Have the fries, don't.’ Most of the time I don't.”

The newly single Klum is too busy for the beach these days while she promotes "Project Runway: The Show That Changed Fashion" and Season 10 of the Lifetime series.

“They're not just making some really horrible clothes,” she said of the contestants. “They're making actually really cool fashion.”

As the show gets ready to launch a new crop of designers on Thursday, Heidi reminisced about some of her favorites from the past.

“Christian Siriano is one of my favorites out there,” she confessed. “He never lets you forget about him. He's always like, ‘Tranny Klum, you need something to wear. I'm going to send you something.’”
