No $50-Million Bonanza for Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s divorce settlement did not include a $50-million payout, or any lump sum for that matter. TMZ reports that the prenup never guaranteed the actress any of Tom’s money if she chose to end the marriage, and she walked away with nothing.

The site's sources called the rumors of Katie’s big score “ridiculous” and that she was never interested in Cruise’s cash. "She has her own money,” an insider said.

Tom will still have to pay in a big way when it comes to child support. TMZ estimates the superstar will hand over more than $10 million in regular payments over the next 12 years.
