Piers Morgan: ‘I Thought Rielle Hunter Was Going to Punch Me’

July 11, 2012 Television

CNN host Piers Morgan is no stranger to controversial guests and rarely backs down in an interview, so it’s no surprise that he didn’t hit it off with Rielle Hunter.

He didn’t cut John Edwards’ former mistress any slack, telling her, “When you behave this way, people get irritated.” Looking back at the interview, he told “Extra’s” Mario Lopez that “at one stage, I thought she was going to punch me and walk off.”

Find out what else the “Piers Morgan Tonight” host had to say about Casey Anthony, Simon Cowell and others. Watch!

I thought Piers did a fantastic job of interviewing Rielle. He didn't let her off at all which was quite impressive. Even the entire cast of "The View" couldn't seem to nail Rielle down for her phoney victimized behavior.

Dear Quinn
dismiss resentment that Elizabeth Edwards controlled where Rielle lived, “team Edwards” and the inconvenience SHE was caused, “rent was to be taken out of the child support…left us with basically no money.” Quinn, know this, you don’t NEED YOUR BOYFRIEND, OR HIS WIFE, TO TAKE CARE OF YOU. It’s CHILD SUPPORT, not MISTRESS SUPPORT, or GIRLFRIEND SUPPORT. Quinn, when you grow up, always be able to take care of yourself, be able to support yourself, until then, you’re not responsible for supporting your mother.
