'Bachelorette' Breakdown: Emily's Emotional Send-Off for Sean

July 10, 2012 The Bachelorette
“The Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard had a hard choice to make on Monday’s episode, narrowing her potential dream men from three to two.

Emily frolicked with the three remaining bachelors -- Jef Holm, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Sean Lowe -- in Curacao. Each one professed their love for the single mom, including Sean, who, throughout  the show, had a hard time expressing his feelings.

In an emotional conclusion, Emily decided to give roses to Jef and Arie, sending Sean home.

"I'm not sure what to say," he said to a sobbing Emily, who couldn’t respond. "I feel kind of stupid, only because I knew with certainty that I was ready to spend forever with you. I didn't see this coming, honestly. I think you should know it's going to hurt me."

“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with Sean, who has now gotten over that painful breakup. He doesn’t think he is still in love with Emily, but Sean said, “I care about her and I was certainly in love with her. I don't question that emotion at all at the time but distance and time as given me a little bit of clarity and I know she's not the one for me.”

Bargh also spoke with Emily, who admits that particular goodbye was the hardest. “I thought, what the hell is wrong with me that I am saying goodbye to this great guy? But I think that he deserves the world and he deserves somebody so amazing.”

Find out who Emily will pick in next week’s “The Bachelorette” finale Monday on ABC!

Come on people, do the math! There were three left standing Monday night. All three of these guys are wonderful, (from what we see anyway). You know she can only pick one so obviously she had to send one home and narrow it down to two. How she could send any one of the three remaining great guys home is a tough one. I, myself, would not want to be in her shoes with the guys she had to choose from. Emily is not in any way doing what the producers want her to do, this I know for a fact and she does not need the money, this I also know for a fact. Now, do the math again. She still has to send yet one more great guy home, thus leaving the one and only. She may or may not be making the right decision in your/our eyes. She has to follow HER heart, not ours! From what we/I see and or think, Sean, Jef or Arie would make a great husband and father. The two that she does not pick will make some other woman very happy. I wish the guys and Emily all the best!

Since I'm 100% she's engaged to Jef, is she cold hearted or doing what the producers want? Either way, Jef deserves better. Not cool Emily!

She picked Arie. She made it quite obvious in that interview too.
