Weekend Movies: 'Amazing Spider-Man' Spins Profitable Web

The Andrew Garfield/Emma Stone reboot “The Amazing Spider-Man” has already grossed $75.5 million since its Tuesday opening, and is estimated to take in a total of $150 million through the weekend.

Along with “Spider-Man,” here’s a preview of what’s also in theaters this weekend, including the gritty drug crime thriller “Savages,” directed by Oliver Stone, and the documentary “Katy Perry: Part of Me,” chronicling the singer’s life on and off stage.
