“30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin has given a $1-million gift to the New York Philharmonic, honoring the President and Executive Director Zarin Mehta.

As a Philharmonic board member and host of its radio show, "The New York Philharmonic This Week,” Baldwin said Monday that Mehta allowed the actor to fulfill his dream of being part of the classical music world.

Mehta, in turn, said Baldwin's "remarkably generous gift is just the latest in his steadfast and inspiring support" of the Philharmonic.

This past weekend, Baldwin wed yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.
