Starlets all over Hollywood are jostling for the chance to play Anastasia Steele in the upcoming movie “50 Shades of Grey,” but is singer Miley Cyrus one of them? Holy Hannah Montana!

Alexis Bledel would be perfectttt in playing Anastasia Steele- she hasss to have the big blue eyes! It says so in the books! And Paul Walker would make the hottest Christian Grey, he has the copper/golden hair and intense grey gaze. Perrrffect!

Miley Cyrus, Kristin Stewart, Ryan Gossling Christian Bale and Jake Gyllenhaal would be poor casting choices for 50 Shades of Grey. However, my vote for Christian would definitely be Chris Hemsworth hand down
ok, Ana is supposed to be innocent and Christian tells her her eyes are too big for her face in a plyful way, I vote Amanda Seyfried.
I LOVED the books - read them all. When I heard this "rumor" (hopefully), I swore that I will NOT see the movie if she is cast as Anastasia!! I really want to see how they are going to pull off that movie, without having to purchase it in the back room of some erotica store, and still able to stay true to the books and do it justice on the big screen.... LOL..... But I won't have the chance to find out, if they cast Miley in the role. I won't go see it.... just won't be able to bring myself to see it, as bad as I am dying to see it! :)

NO, NO say it isn't so. Find someone who can redeem ana steele, PLEASE. No way miley can play this role. This is a make or break for me. I will not put my hard earned money on the table if Miley is Ana Steele.
I absolutely love love love this series. You might say I am obsessed with it. However, if this joke of an "actress" we're to get cast as Anastasia, I will consider protesting the movie. This has to be some kind of joke
I can see the guy as Grey but I really don't see her as Anastasia. I have read the trilogy and I don't think she knows how to play innocent. She is too much of an exhibitionist to be believable.
I was really hoping they'd make a movie after reading the books, not so much now if Miley plays the role of Ana. I agree Ana should be played by an unknown or someone known for the sweet bashful type. We know too much of Miley's ways from tabloids (whether fact or fiction) and knowing my kids watched her on the Disney channel does not set easy with me watching her in this type of role. Really hoping the directer takes a different route.

If Ms Cyrus gets this role it will ruin the books and the movie! This needs to go to an unknown, someone without baggage and certainly someone we could champion. That is not Ms Cyrus!
With due respect to Miley, (I DO think she is a great actress) I do NOT see her in this role. I loved her in "The Last Song" and Hannah Montana (Hey I have kids!)but I just cannot envision her as Ana. And talk about awkward if Chris gets the part of Christian. Yikes! (though I have other pics for him too). I wish all of them the best on this. It's going to take a lot to make the movies come close to the books. There's a lot to live up to!
