"Extra" hosts Mario Lopez and Maria Menounos help remember TV syndication veteran and former Telepictures President, Jim Paratore, who died of a heart attack Tuesday at age 58.

Paratore was renowned for creating "Extra" 18 years ago, and other hit series including, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "TMZ," "Lopez Tonight," "The Tyra Banks Show" and many more.

Help us in remembering a man full of ideas, devotion and heart.

My prayers and condolences to Jim's family, friends & all the many individuals that have met him through the years. I knew him back in New Orleans when we were teenagers. We dated for awhile, so I do know how he had a great sense of humor, and was committed to his family & friends. So sorry for everyone's loss.
