Donna Summer's Advice to Rihanna, Beyonce and Britney
In one of “Extra’s” last interviews with Donna Summer in 2008, the veteran disco queen talked with correspondent Terri Seymour about young singers Rihanna, Beyonce and Britney Spears, offering them some advice.
To Beyonce: “I love Beyonce too! What's not to love? I want you to continue to be the inspiration you are.”
To Britney (who, at the time, was having her mental breakdown): “That's another story completely. Britney needs to be around people who really love her, and who really tell her the truth. Don't hold it against me, Britney. I love you, and I'm talking like a mommy!”
Donna also talked about her album, "Crayons," and her '08 world tour. “I believe God gave me the talent. I give him the credit. If I'm able to be singing in my 90s, I'll probably be singing in my 90s. That's a blessing.”

We will forever miss her...another beautiful voice!
I am truly sorry Donna Summer will no longer be with us. We lost one of the great talents. May the Lord give her family members the will to carry on. May she rest in peace.
I love her advice to all the ladies! I think we just have to have a movie about her. Beyonce could play her part. But odviously have Rie, and Brit in the movie as well. Donna Summers, and a few others made the 70's what it was for me!
I love the things she said about the ladies. They definately should come out with a movie about her. Bee could play her, no problem. And definately have Rie, and Brit in the movie also! Donna Summer, and a few others made the 70's tolerable for me.
