'DWTS' Results: Who Didn't Make It to the Finals?
Even though they ended Monday at the top of the leaderboard, “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Maria Menounos and partner Derek Hough were voted off Tuesday.
The dancing duo scored a perfect 30 with their first dance, a sexy and sweet Argentine tango. Watch the performance!
Contestant Katherine Jenkins suffered a back injury at the end of her routine Monday and the misstep put her in last place, but she and partner Mark Ballas were deemed safe early in the results show.
The audience booed loudly as host Tom Bergeron delivered the news to Maria and Derek, but the “Extra” host was thankful for her time on the show.
"I learned so many things. I learned how strong I was," Menounos said. Hough added, "I loved, loved, loved dancing with this woman. She's not just a champion of dancing, she's a champion of life."
“Rock of Ages” stars Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta and Mary J. Blige took the stage to perform a medley of hits from the movie, which opens in theaters June 15. Carrie Underwood also performed "Good Girl," the first single from her new album, “Blown Away.”
Jenkins, along with William Levy and Donald Driver will compete in the “Dancing with the Stars” finale next week!

The only, and I repeat, the only reason I watched DWTS this season is because Maria was on there. Won't be watching it any more. That was absolutely ridiculous that she and Derek got the boot. They were awesome dancers.
It's enough to make a person crazy when a beautiful, talented dancer like Maria Menounos gets voted off the show and you know the only reason is because of her gender. As much as I wanted to see Katherine make it 'til the end it is plain to see that Maria should have been the mirror Ball winner. What's intriguing about this is that supposedly it is men who do all the thinking with their libidos, yet it's obvious by the winners year after year who is doing all the voting on these shows and why. H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E-S!!!!!
This was absolutely totally unfair, Maria Menounos should be in the finals, the only reason Katherine Jenkins wasn't the one voted off was because she cried after Monday's performance, she got sympathy votes, Katherine Jenkins should have been voted off, not Maria Menounos, this is totally unfair.
SO wrong!! I was sure Maria would win.
Maria and Derek will always be the Champs of my heart! They were terrific and did not deserve to go tonight. They have more class and chemistry then anyone else on the show. Thank you Maria and Derek for 9 weeks of beautiful dancing which brought me to tears and blew my mind. The standouts were the Rumba, the VamPaso Doble and the exquisite Viennese Waltz. Then, there was the Argentine Tango, the Quickstep, the Foxtrot, the Cha Cha, the Samba, the Salsa and the Jive!
Hold your heads up high Maria and Derek! You are number 1 in my book!
