“Extra’s” Renee Bargh attended the 27th annual Odyssey Ball benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Institute – and spoke with Tatum O’Neal, who opened up for the first time about her dad Ryan O'Neal's battle with prostate cancer.
“Yeah, I’m worried about my dad,” admitted Tatum, but she added, “He’s a tough guy.”
Bargh also talked with the event’s host, “Dancing with the Stars” pro Tony Dovolani, and the evening's honoree, oncology specialist Dr. Lawrence Piro.

I think it's good what Tatum said as it's true that Ryan O'Neal is definitely a tough guy, not the exact opposite. We're actually no good to ourselves or the ones we love and care about when constantly playing the weak victim to others, thus always struggling and manipulating being one-up on them. Eventually we all learn there's certainly nothing tough about that at all. That's the message that film "The Escape Artist" made in 1979 and came out in 1982 delivers. I'm very glad and stronger myself regarding that life lesson message too.
Tatum should go back under her rock-everyone knows that all she cares about herself. She's still trying to be in the "limelight". Grow up & shut up!
