Ashley Judd on 'Puffy Face' Kerfuffle: 'It's Touching a Raw Nerve'

Actress Ashley Judd set out this week to spark a conversation about the media's sexualization of women - and she managed to open a dialog all across the media.

"Extra" caught up with the "Missing" star at the Grove to talk about her controversial article, published on the Daily Beast, bluntly titled, "Ashley Judd Slaps the Media in the Face for Speculation Over Her 'Puffy' Appearance."

"I think the reason my piece, the conversation, has caught fire the way it has is because it isn't specific or exclusive to women in Hollywood. It's really touching a raw nerve in millions of girls and women everywhere, including boys and men," says Judd.

The article was prompted after a series of pictures of her were released with a "puffy" face, spurring internet rumors that she had plastic surgery. She says the puffiness was caused by steroid medication for a sinus infection.
