Maria Menounos on First 'DWTS' Elimination: 'I Felt Like I Was at Miss America'

At the first axing ceremony on "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday, "Extra's" Maria Menounos was nervous, saying, "I felt like I was at the Miss America pageant."

"The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd joked, "I almost Tim Tebowed, except my dress was too tight to get on the ground!"

The dreaded "first to go" announcement sent former tennis pro Martina Navratilova and partner Tony Dovolani packing, with Martina predicting, "I knew it was coming."

Backstage, "Extra" spoke to Menounos, who dished on her new friend, opera singer Katherine Jenkins. "Katherine and I have a girl-mance."

Menounos talked about the nerve-wracking elimination round, saying, "When Sherri was joining the 'safe' crowd and we realized it was the three of us, we had to do the threesome romance!" Shepherd chimed in, "And I got in the middle! It was a little Oreo sandwich!"
