'Extra' Raw! 'Drive Away Cancer' with Grace the Car

March 20, 2012 Stars Give Back

"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli talked with activist John Nikas about his "Drive Away Cancer" campaign and introduced Penacoli to his sidekick, a 1953 Austin Healey named Grace.

"Drive Away Cancer" uses the metaphor of an abandoned car named Grace -- full of rust and battling constant mechanical demons -- to bring hope and inspiration to those affected by cancer.

With every stop across America, thousands sign the names of their loved ones on the car to ensure that whatever the outcome, cancer can never take away the impact that each of us leaves behind.
