Jessica Simpson Celebrates Baby Shower

Jessica Simpson invited friends and family to celebrate her baby shower in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.

Simpson, who is expecting a baby girl that she will reportedly name Maxwell, was joined by some of her Hollywood pals, including Jessica Alba, Ellen Pompeo and sister Ashlee Simpson.

The event was organized by famed celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss and featured a pink and yellow theme, with tube-shaped balloons and spring tulips throughout the venue.

An eyewitness told People, "Jessica looked pretty and very happy."

A friend added, "She's so excited to be a mom. She can't wait to meet her little girl."
