Elizabeth Smart is a New Bride

Kidnap survivor Elizabeth Smart exchanged vows with her boyfriend of one year, Matthew Gilmour in a private ceremony on Saturday afternoon in Hawaii.

"To be in one of her favorite places with her family has made for a dream wedding. It's been an absolutely beautiful day,'' her spokesperson told People.com. "She is positively radiant. And Matthew couldn't be happier."

Smart, who was kidnapped from her home in 2002 at age 14, had planned a summer wedding but changed plans to a secret destination to avoid media attention, the rep said.

The couple will honeymoon at an undisclosed location before returning to Salt Lake City to begin their married life together.
