Lucky Man Dustin Hoffman Chats with 'Extra'

January 26, 2012 Television

"Extra" Special Correspondent Michael Yo spoke with Dustin Hoffman about his new HBO show, "Luck," and described the actor's character as a "no-good, low-down, ex-con." Hoffman replied, "I could put a contract out for you by describing me like that."

The new series, revolving around intense gambling drama, also stars Academy Award nominee Nick Nolte and Dennis Farina. When Yo asked Hoffman about Nolte's nomination, Dustin admitted, "I didn't know he got a nod! I didn't read the... when were they announced?"

See Dustin take charge in "Luck," airing Feb. 5, and throughout the season on Sundays on HBO.
