When Beyoncé and Jay-Z arrived to Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC to have Blue Ivy last weekend, they were the first to stay inside the elegant, five-star hotel-inspired VIP suite.

TMZ obtained photos of the plush room with its four flat-screen TVs, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, art, mahogany walls and luxurious furniture. There's also a separate bed intended for the patient's loved one to comfortably spend the night... in this case, new daddy Jay-Z most likely was able to catch a few Zs.

Sources at the hospital explain the suite was not constructed specifically for Beyoncé -- the pop diva just happened to be the first patient to use it.
