"America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon was released from L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center over the weekend, after being successfully treated for mild kidney failure.

Cannon's rep released this statement: "Nick Cannon was released over the weekend to be with his family. He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers. He plans to return to his live morning radio show broadcast 'Rollin' with Nick Cannon' on 92.3 NOW FM on January 17th, 6-10am EST."

Nick was first admitted to the hospital last week during a holiday trip to Aspen with wife Mariah Carey and their twins. He was then transferred to Cedars in L.A., where he underwent surgery.

Carey posted photos of their stay in the Aspen hospital, along with brief updates on her husband's condition.

Cannon tweeted Friday, "Recovering... about to be stronger than ever! #Ncredible!"
