'Extra' Raw! Steven Tyler Dishes on Seacrest's Return to 'Idol'

"Extra's" Terri Seymour caught up with Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Kiefer Sutherland at FOX's TCA press tour. Newly engaged Tyler addressed the recent rumors about Ryan Seacrest leaving "American Idol" to do the "Today" show, and said, "You know, what he's doing next year, who knows... this year, he's with us. We got him."

Lopez chimed in, "See, I don't even know about this rumor, so that's why I feel like, 'Where have I been?'"

Seymour also spoke with "Touch" star Kiefer Sutherland, who admitted he didn't think he'd take on another TV show so soon after "24." Sutherland said he was drawn to the storyline and knew it was too good to pass up. The actor noted, "Opportunities do not always come on your timetable!"

The new season of "American Idol" kicks off on Jan. 18, and check out the premiere of "Touch," on March 19, with a sneak peek airing Jan. 19 on FOX.
