Giuliana Rancic: 'Work Has Been the Best Distraction for Me'
"Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with E! News host Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill in NYC to talk to her about her amazing recovery from a double mastectomy.
"Honestly, work has been the best distraction for me," said Giuliana, who returned to E! this week, just two weeks after the surgery.
Her secret? Giuliana said she had great doctors -- and a positive attitude. "Attitude is everything," she explained. "I mean, it's very easy to sit at home and feel sorry for yourself and I did that. At some point, I kind of had to think about the things great in my life!"
That includes looking forward to starting a family with Bill. Giuliana told Calloway, "Whether we have our own, whether we use a surrogate or adopt or whatever it is, we know we're going to be great parents one day."
The two are definitely looking forward to 2012 this New Year's Eve. Giuliana said, "I think this is our biggest New Year's ever. We are going to put this year behind us and welcome the New Year."
She said her resolution its to "live in the present," adding, "I just want to stop worrying about next week and next month, you know, because the next thing you know, it's the end of your life and all you did was worry about the future!"
