Steve Jobs Tops Barbara Walters' 'Fascinating People' List

December 15, 2011 Television

Veteran interviewer Barbara Walters announced her "10 Most Fascinating People of 2011" Wednesday, choosing the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs as her No. 1.

Jobs died in October at just 56, after an eight-year battle with cancer, and although the ABC special chose him earlier in the year after he announced his retirement, Walters and the program's execs decided to stick with their choice even after the tech visionary passed away.
